• Costume designer: Lorna Marie Mugan
• Production facility: Dress Drapers, Naas
On this production Kirsten Lock made the costume patterns and costumes for coats, jackets, blouses and culottes designed by the multiple awarded costume designer Lorna Marie Mugan.
Kirsten: I simply loved making coats, a pair of culottes and blouses for the characters ‘Vita Sackville-West’ played by Gemma Arterton and ‘Virginia Woolf’ played by Elisabeth Debicki. Lorna Marie Mugan also asked me to make costumes patterns and the costumes for the character ‘Lady Sackville’ played by lsaballa Rossellini.
The 1920s is Kirsten’s favourite costume period. Silks and velvets were mostly used to make this period costumes.
