For “The professor and the madman”, a period drama set in the nineteenth century, I was hired to do the costume patterns, cutting and making of the costumes for the children.
I fulfilled this task with ease and in short time, the costume designer Eimer Ni Mhaoldomhnaigh asked me to do a couple of jackets for the character Dr. W.C. Minor played by Sean Penn and an evening dress for the character Ada Murray, played by Jenifer Ehle. Additionally I made 3 dresses for maids, which were sold to a costume rental in London.
One year later I saw them again, featured in a period shop window display for the mini series of “Little Women” produced by the BBC.
