The creative mind behind Dress Drapers:

My name is Kirsten Lock and I was educated within the German crafts guild system where I have reached the highest level of dressmaking, specialized in historical costumes at the University of applied Sciences and Arts in Hamburg, Germany.

My passion lays in creating unique dresses and accessories, using luxurious fabrics like satin silk, dupion silk, embroidered organza, chiffon, embroidered tulle and many more.

Besides my designs I offer my customers to explore their creativity and help them to make their dream come true.

My passion for creating “works of art” of clothing is undiminished and I have been fortunate enough to be in a position to be able to produce high quality items of clothing for discerning Individuals seeking something unique, as well commissions for Theatre, TV & Film.

My creations are made in my studio in Naas, Co. Kildare. Here, in a peaceful environment, I find lots of inspiration.

I can offer you a well picked selection of fine fabrics including all sorts of silk, embroidered silk, embroidered mousseline, sequined fabrics, cashmire, linen, fine wool, fine cottons and viscose and many more.

Besides the fabrics I am able to present you a collection of buttons made out of natural materials like wood, bone, horn and mother of pearl.
